2017 Vernon Newsom Tiger Cup

March 24 to March 25, 2017 Hosted by Mansfield High @ Mansfield, TX

Vernon Newsom was a former Mansfield golf coach, high school principal and superintendent. Mr. Newsom was instrumental in transcending the Mansfield Independent School District from a 1 high school town to the current 5 high schools within the district. Newsom was a visionary, advocate and a staunch supporter of MISD Athletics and his name can be seen on many district facilities. Mansfield High School Golf is honored to have Mr. Newsom's name on our tournament.
